I was recently contacted by Salon Cosmetics and given the opportunity to try their newly released hair care brand called I.C.O.N. from the range INDIA. {Keep reading this post for your chance to win some INDIA for yourself...}

"INDIA from I.C.O.N. captures the essence of health and beauty inside a product line that incorporates ancient practices with the restorative oils of Moringa to add luster and strength to hair; Argan to nourish and revitalize; and the fragrance of Amber to invoke past, present and future peace.
The women of India use these oils to heal.
I.C.O.N. uses them for hair-yurvedic benefits to transform hair from dull and lifeless to silky, manageable and full of shine."

I recieved an INDIA Travel Pack (4 Products)* containing:

INDIA Shampoo {60ml} ~ Includes Moringa and Argan Oils to nourish and heal.
INDIA Conditioner {60ml} ~ Moringa and Argan Oils help encourage hair growth and add deep brilliance.
INDIA Healing Spray {60ml} ~ Includes Quinoa which works to penetrate into hair and repair and seal split ends while also adding moisture.
INDIA Oil {10ml} ~ The Argan oil works to tame unruly hair {yep, sounds like my hair!}, Moringa helps to heal each strand. Kelp Extract revitalises from scalp to ends... can be used on damp or dry hair.

I was most excited about trying the Healing Spray and the Oil. My hair is long, thin {but there's a HEAP of it}, it's wavy, in some places curly, and for the most part frizzy :)

After using just the shampoo and conditioner my hair felt better. Healthier. Softer. Looked shinier.
I have been using these hair products for around 3 weeks now. I have to say that the Healing Spray and Oil are my favourites. At first the Amber scent was quite overpowering, but I quickly got used to it and now love it! So much better than floral smells :)

INDIA Shampoo: This is a gel like shampoo which lathers really nicely. It's a sort of metallic, pearly white cream and after shampooing my hair doesn't feel as harsh as how it felt after using my regular shampoo.

INDIA Conditioner: A green cream! My hair once again feels really nice after using this.

INDIA Healing Spray: My favourite! It makes tangles just drop out and leaves my hair smelling gorgeous. I love this product. My hair certainly looks and feels better. I've used this product after having used my regular shampoo and conditioner and found it to work exactly the same. I will be purchasing more of this! Oh, and it's a weird mustard coloured cream lol which I fail miserably spraying into my hair without overshooting and getting my bathroom walls, so I tend to spray in my hand instead lol

INDIA Oil: The product I was most looking forward to trying! Taming, healing, revitalising, soothing... tick :)
It's sort of serum-like, and doesn't leave my hair feeling oily at all. It soaks in quickly and did sooth. I had high expectations from this oil, to sooth and tame my frizziness. I get a much better result using it on dry hair, although it can be applied to wet hair.

I will be adding the Healing Spray and Oil to my haircare products for sure! And I am super excited for a 'COMING SOON' product which is listed on some pamphlets I received with my samples.
"INDIA Curl Cream - An Enhancer to define curls and reposition waves for an exotically rich attitude." Ooh - I want some. Looking forward to trying this in the future :)

  1. Hya Loz, great review, the healing spray would have to be my favourite too!

I've been using the collection for a while now with the addition of the hair masque I purchased from Hair2Go and I can honestly say my dry frizzy hair is getting better and better.

    Good luck with your giveaway!

My hair is wavy but I normally straighten or curl it. My fav hairstyle is a messy bun, just cause it’s so easy. My fav products to use are argan oil or shea oil and a deep conditioning mask once a week to keep my hair soft and healthy.
    Lovely blog you have :)

    1. messy bun is my favourite too :) good luck

  5. Awesome Review :D There's nothing better than reading real reviews from real people especially on beauty items. As for my hair, its way older than it should be lol, full of greys ( That I constantly tdye to cover), Natural Curls which tend to get dry and very frizzy. My favourite products are hair masks and treatments to help keep the dry's and frizzy's at bay. And my favourite hairstyle is a messy bun. It can be worn both in the day for an easy look, or it can be dressed up for a stunning evening look.

Thanks for a Great Giveaway and Good Luck Everyone :D

    1. Yep, messy bun is perfect for wayward waves and curls :) These products may be just what you need, so good luck :)

  6. Great review, you make me want to try this now :)
My hair is long and thin and goes frizzy if I blow dry it or wavy/curly if I don't.
Anything I use for body or to fight the frizz only tends to weigh my hair down and make it limp so it looks like it needs washing (I only ever use leave in stuff on the ends).
My current fave is the Aussie brand shampoo and conditioner in Aussome Volume. I can't get it here though and have to have it shipped from the UK :(

    1. Frizz is a big struggle with my hair too, I've found a combination of a few products work better than just one or two, perhaps these will be just what you need! I've never used any Aussie products, sucks that although having our namesake, they're not available here! good luck :)

  7. I would love to try these products, so count me in!

    Following you on GFC now.

    1. counted in trishie :) good luck!

  8. THeir haircare is absolutely amazing! The winner will be very very lucky! Good Luck with the giveaway lovely! ^_^

  9. I have super thick chestnut brown hair past my waist and I've been wearing it up in a bun almost 24/7 in this hot weather. And I've been using Aussie instant freeze as my go to hairspray for the last couple months.

  10. Products look amazing! I hope I filled in the raffle correctly I'm not sure what my gfc name is so I put Jess harvie, but might come up under hubbys name!

  11. I have super long hair! I haven't picked a favourite product as I have so many, but I've been testing the ICON India range and am loving it!

  12. My hair is in a concave bob and is really thick. I only use moose or hairspray on my hair as that's all I can afford as having gorgeous hair products is a luxury for me.

  13. My hair has its own life and mind I think.
It's curly one day and frizzy the next.
I like when my hair is curly as it looks wonderful and soft.

  14. ahh, thank you very much :)
Very excited to try the trio :)
