August Empties

Have you entered my HAIR2GO vouchers giveaway? ------------>>>>>>>>>>

Hey guys... I didn't actually use up many products this past month. I had big hopes of getting through a heap of samples but just didn't get around to it!

First up is my everyday Shampoo & Conditioner... {technically I actually don't wash my hair 'everyday', but this is the product that I always use :)}

ORGANIC CARE Dry Nourish Shampoo & Conditioner.. I love these. Not just for the incredible low prize of around $3-4 each, but because my hair feels great. I have tried another type I think it was for coloured hair or something, but these are the ones I keep going back to. My hair isn't particularly dry, but these work great. For those who don't know, this is made in Australia, owned by Australians, are Vegan, cruelty free, plant based Bio Packaging, ingredients sourced from plants and are free of lots of nasties :) Repurchase: Already Have!

The cooler months saw me use up two hand creams.. the first: REDWIN Intensive Nouishment with Moraccan Oil, my favourite! Smells gorgeous, soaks in really quickly for a non greasy finsish. Repurchase: Already have!
2nd: SWISSE Hand Cream with Vitamin F & Pomegranate, I do not like the scent of this at all! I'd likened it to something citrus but I have seen it referred to as a Lemongrass scent, either way, urgh! I actually received a 2nd tube of this in a recent prize, I'll be using it up also, but would not purchase this. I much prefer the REDWIN Hand cream.

BATISTE Dry Shampoo.. Deluxe sample from a beauty sub box. This smells gorgeous, love the packaging, was happy with the results. Purchase: maybe, after I use up the other cans I already have! :)

PAULA'S CHOICE RESIST Intensive Wrinkle Serum. I really liked this product, the serum feels amazing on and did in fact improve some of my smaller lines. I have received a different Paula's Choice Wrinkle product so will use it before deciding between the two.

PALMER'S COCOA BUTTER Stretchmarks... I found this in the bottom of my cupboards, I'm pretty sure it was in a Bounty Bag {the sample bags you receive when pregnant}.. as for stretchmarks improvement? Mine are basically a lost cause since having twins... it's a nice nourishing, thick body lotion, and my legs loved it lol :P Purchase: No, though I do use a different PALMER'S Body Lotion everyday.

VASELINE White Petroleum Jelly. OMG.. you have no idea how old this actual tub of Vaseline is! Ancient! And it's finally all gone! I love this, so versitile. I mean, who doesn't own a tub of this! Great for chapped lips, windburn, sore noses from too much blowing, dry hands/elbows, great for stopping bleeding on cuts or small sores... endless! Purchase: Forever!

So overall not a particularly fascinating month as far as empties are concerned... I'm working on making September's empties post a big one! :)
What did you use up this month? Have you tried any of my empties.. what did you think?

  1. I love the Redwin's Organics Range by favourite would have to be the vanilla & kakadu plum body lotion, smells delish.

    I tried the Paula's Choice but it made my skin peel and I couldn't wear foundation over it. Did you have any problems with peeling?
